Hello, and Welcome! We are Josh and Shawna Clawson, and we are here because we decided to start a podcast. We are the voices behind the podcast known as 'A Marriage Minute' and you can find us on Anchor.fm, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
What started out as an adventure on YouTube ended up turning into us being actually pretty camera shy and deciding that we liked it better behind the scenes when nobody can see us. We will try to upload a new podcast every 2 weeks on Saturdays. (No Guarantees). We are a really busy couple. (We have linked the podcast right here! Go give it a listen, I think you will really enjoy it.)
We thought it would be best to have another outlet that would allow us to keep everyone, that listens to our podcast, up to date on why we are so terrible at actually sitting down to record our thoughts. Sometimes it is not very quiet at our house. (We have 5 children, age range from 9 years old to a little 1 year old, you can just imagine the volume of sound that echoes in our house, but we are so glad that you are here! Thanks so much for being here and we hope that you will find joy and laughter in your holy marriage and that we can be a blessing somehow, someway.

More About Us - Josh and Shawna
Josh and I met at church camp back in 2010. I was already well aware of his existence, and subtly tried to get him to notice me that entire camp and then he took someone else to the banquet and my heart shattered and at that moment, I decided I was done with boys. I was 18 at the time and I just felt that I would become a nun and serve Jesus.
alongside my best friend, Bianca and that would be the life we would live. Literally, THE NEXT DAY... after camp was over and everybody was leaving, we were on our way back home and I receive a text from that same Josh I tried so hard to get to notice me. (His mother prompted his eyes to me, and he finally realized I was a real person, so THANKS MOM!) We talked and dated long distance for about a year, then I moved from Arkansas (born and raised - Woo Pig) to Oklahoma (literally, the winds come sweeping down the plains). Approximately, 1 year later we tied the knot, and the rest is history... Now, we are out here in Colorado, following God's call into the ministry and letting Him write out our journey in this big book of life. Stay tuned to hear how the ending turns out. :)

To end this very first blog post on our very first blog... Let me formally introduce you to what I have termed us as: The Crazy Clawson Clan... (This name is a part of our YouTube channel which still exists today, but it's been a very hot minute since we have even looked at our own channel. If you feel so inclined, please go watch our family do what we do best - Be crazy. I do have a few more videos that need edited and posted to that channel but who knows if that'll ever happen.) Anyways, enjoy this lovely picture of our little-large family!
(This is when we made a family vacation trip to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. It is the most recent family picture we have right now so sorry if you can't really see us... Also, why is it so hard to get all your kiddos to look at the camera at one time for just one good picture? Josh is holding the baby, but he is not interested in what is happening and he kind of blends in with Josh's shirt.)
